Legend Music Awards, Jam Music Production and MJPortal are the co-organizers of the first ever "MICHAEL JACKSON EUROPEAN CONVENTION", a bright new idea of the organizers to give Michael Jackson fans the possibilty of meeting up and discussing various aspects of the artist's life and career from all possible standpoints.
On June 25th 2009 in the city of Los Angeles the whole world was shocked by the news of the death of this great artist. What the world does not know is what an incredible human being he was and how many altruistic gestures he made and initiated in his lifetime. So much has been written and said about Michael Jackson in the past few months that it seems the world is ackowledging his existence only becasue of his untimely death.
Despite the infinite number of tributes offered in his memory, what seems to be the most obvious and deafening silence is the almost complete absence in the world wide media of any reference to the deepest and most profound side of this artist which he himself tried his best to hide with his usual reserve, keeping it as private as possible.
Talking about this side of Michael Jackson and making people aware of the "other" Michael is the continuing theme that inspires the work of the Legend Music Awards - Jam Music Production Int. and MJPortal, the website dedicated to Michael Jackson.
This meeting will be the first of a series of yearly appointments with the sole purpose of completely "rehabilitating" the human being, before the artist, who has only too often been marred by vicious gossip with no real foundation to support that gossip.
