Dr. Conrad Murray, the physician who was attending to Michael Jackson on the day of the pop star's death, entered a plea of not guilty to involuntary manslaughter Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
"Your honor, I am an innocent man," Murray said, adding, "Therefore, I plead not guilty," after being interrupted by Judge Michael Pastor.
Pastor set March 28 as the date for jury selection to begin, and said he is "inclined" to permit live TV coverage of the trial .
"The defense fully intends to be ready for that trial," Murray defense lawyer Ed Chernoff said. "For his part, Dr. Murray is looking forward for the opportunity to finally tell his part of the story,"
We - the fans and the admirers - are looking forward for the "possibility" to hear the whole story and not the excuses and the lies the defense team has put together in the last months! We demand justice for Michael Jackson. Hopefully, the truth will finally unfold!
