Michael Jackson Doctor Stripped of Medical License

LOS ANGELES, (Reuters) - Michael Jackson's former doctor, convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the singer's death, has been asked by the California Medical Board to return his license.

The board has officially notified Dr. Murray that his license has been suspended, effectively banning him from practicing in the state, TMZ reports. The penalty is par for the course anytime a doctor is convicted of a felony.

The physician was convicted in November of causing Jackson's death in a manslaughter case that centered on Murray's use of the powerful anesthetic propofol to help the singer sleep. Murray, who was sentenced to four years behind bars, remains in jail and has until the middle of this month to return the certificates.

Following that, the California Medical Board will at a later date move to revoke Murray's medical license.

This is getting stupider by the minute! When a man points a finger at another man, he must not lose sight of the fact that four other fingers are pointing in his own direction. Not only Dr. Murray was convicted of the death of a drug addict, and now surface these "frivolous" and "baseless" lawsuits. If these so-called fans feel bad it means that there is probably something wrong in their heads. This is so French; picking up a fight with somebody who is already in jail. If they like Michael so much, they should rather write to the father and Julian Fricking Rouas to tell them to stop their shameful exploitation of Michael. The latest news is the Jackson Perfume Collection is due out Jan. 21 in Las Vegas. See the pics and read about this shameful exploitation... http://jacksontributefragrances.blogspot.com
