A London tabloid declared Sunday that "secret FBI files" reveal Michael Jackson paid millions to silence dozens of boys he abused.

A website can enjoy a sharp spike in traffic -- which can translate into advertising revenue -- with a sensational headline.

But journalists and others who have closely followed the controversies and legal fights surrounding the pop star found the description by the Sunday People newspaper of the documents as being from FBI files to be questionable.

Michael Jackson Doctor Stripped of Medical License

LOS ANGELES, (Reuters) - Michael Jackson's former doctor, convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the singer's death, has been asked by the California Medical Board to return his license.

The board has officially notified Dr. Murray that his license has been suspended, effectively banning him from practicing in the state, TMZ reports. The penalty is par for the course anytime a doctor is convicted of a felony.

Michael Jackson's doctor Conrad Murray was sentenced to four years in prison today for involuntary manslaughter in the singer's death. Judge Michael Pastor defined Murray's treatment of Jackson a "cycle of horrible medicine" and "medicine madness."

Jackson's parents and siblings Jermaine, LaToya and Randy were present in court, but did not speak, instead allowing family friend and attorney Brian Panish to read a statement on behalf of the Jackson's three children and family.

Dr. Rogers, who performed the autopsy on Michael Jackson's body, testified that there are no possibilitiesy that Jackson gave himself the overdose of the drug, because Jackson couldn't to give himself the anesthetic in the two minutes when Murray said he was out of room. "The circumstances from my point of view do not support self-administration of Propofol," Rogers said. According to Rogers, he determined the singer's death as homicide for Murray recklessly used powerful anesthetic Propofol. He also said it was possible that Murray gave Jackson an overdose, because he had no "precision dosing device".

In what’s been the most anticipated evidence in the trial, the prosecution played the jury Dr. Murray’s interview with LAPD detectives, recorded 2 days after MJ died. The interview has never been played in public before, nor has a transcript of its contents been released.

The day of the interview, Murray told the detectives he arrived at Jackson’s rented mansion at 12:50 AM on June 25, and headed straight to Michael’s room to wait for him to come home after rehearsals. According to Murray, Jackson arrived at 1:05 AM saying he was tired. Murray gave MJ a 10 mg Valium pill. Michael couldn’t sleep, so Murray says he then gave him 2 mg of the anti-anxiety drug, Lorazepam.
