Here is the first exclusive video of Michael Jackson rehearsing with dancers on June 23rd. Two days before he died. Michael looks great and determined. Consider that this is just "rehearsal mode" and is not a real performance.
We think some additional footages will be released tomorrow. Stay tuned.
President Barack Obama called Michael Jackson a brilliant performer whose talents were paired with a tragic personal life.
"I'm glad to see that he is being remembered primarily for the great joy that he brought to a lot of people through his extraordinary gifts as an entertainer," Obama said in an AP interview Thursday.
Obama said he didn't see any controversy in the fact that he did not issue a formal public statement upon Jackson's death, and said he was unaware of any dissatisfaction in the black community with his response.
"I know a lot of people in the black community and I haven't heard that," Obama said.
The president said he grew up on Jackson's music and "I still have all his stuff on my iPod."
"I think that Michael Jackson will go down in history as one of our greatest entertainers," Obama said. "His brilliance as a performance also was paired with a tragic and in many ways, sad personal life."
Obama personally sent a letter of condolence to the Jackson family, the contents of which were not revealed.
It seems like AEG Live no longer wants to wait to show video proof of Michael Jackson’s fitness and health. Sources say the concert promoter will likely release some “live” video clips from Jackson’s rehearsals either late tonight or early tomorrow.
The release will not be exclusive but rather like a movie release—wide—to get the most impact. The clips will show Jackson dancing, singing, and directing his show, interacting with cast members as they put together the “This Is It” tour for London. Photos from the tour were distributed days ago by AEG; there’s also talk of a DVD to come.
If this doesn’t dispel the idea that Jackson was frail or incoherent, nothing will.
The Jackson family has just released a statement via their newly acquired reps, saying there will be no public or private service for Michael Jackson at Neverland.
"Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland.
Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly."
The first exclusive pictures of Michael Jackson rehearsing for the upcoming tour "This Is It" leaked on the net.
A DVD of the rehearsals, recorded with multi cameras, is reportedly supposed to be published as a tribute to Michael Jackson.
Today, AEG Live announced it would issue full refunds - including all ticket service charges - to fans from 200 countries who purchased tickets through "authorized agents."
Beginning July 1, ticket holders seeking reimbursement will be directed to www.MichaelJacksonLive.com. The refunds will be processed by such ticketing agencies as Ticketmaster, Ticketline and the ticket-reselling agent Viagogo in the U.K., the announcement said.
We've learned the story making the rounds detailing the terrible condition of Michael Jackson's body is a fake.
A report in The Sun gave harrowing details of the body, but we've learned the "autopsy report" was fabricated and completely false.
The Los Angeles County coroner just released the following statement: "The report that is being published did not come from this office. I don't know where the information came from, or who that information came from. It is not accurate. Some of it is totally false." Source: TMZ
Police have launched a criminal investigation into Michael Jackson's shocking death, his family's lawyer said yesterday. And the Jacksons are set to start their own legal battle if no one is charged over the tragedy. Michael's personal doctor was quizzed for three hours by Los Angeles Police Department on Saturday.
Dr Conrad Murray is suspected of giving Jacko a shot of the potent painkiller Demerol before he collapsed and frantically tried to revive the singer long after he had died. He is even believed to have plunged a syringe into the 50-year-old pop icon's heart in his efforts to save him. Homicide detectives investigating the death have insisted it is not a criminal investigation.
But family lawyer Brian Oxman yesterday told The Sun the Jacksons have been told otherwise - and they want anybody who is found to be responsible to be brought to justice. The family carried out their own private second autopsy on Saturday to give them evidence to launch legal proceedings after the coroner's examination ruled out foul play. Mr Oxman said: "I can tell you, and this is a new development, there is a criminal investigation taking place by the Los Angeles Police Department. That is the case. They have told the family.
"What they are going to do, who they are going to talk to and what is going to happen, I don't know. That is up to them. I don't want to make any accusations as to any particular people. I want to wait till the toxicology tests are completed and let the authorities do their thing. Then we will find out."
As for Dr Murray, he added: "I don't know what he did. But the reports I have heard are disturbing. A Demerol shot sure sounds consistent with what I knew." Dr Murray, 51, had desperately tried to save Jackson's life before the 911 call was made on Thursday. The Jackson family want to know what happened in those crucial minutes - and he has been criticised by medical experts for administering CPR on a bed rather than the floor.
Just two days after the tragic death of Michael Jackson, The Jackson Family has released a statement to fans on the event that has rocked the world.
“In one of the darkest moments of our lives we find it hard to find the words appropriate to this sudden tragedy we all had to encounter. Our beloved son, brother and father of three children has gone so unexpectedly, in such a tragic way and much too soon. It leaves us, his family, speechless and devastated to a point, where communication with the outside world seems almost impossible at times.”
“We miss Michael endlessly, our pain cannot be described in words. But Michael would not want us to give up now. So we want to thank all of his faithful supporters and loyal fans worldwide, you — who Michael loved so much. Please do not despair, because Michael will continue to live on in each and every one of you. Continue to spread his message, because that is what he would want you to do. Carry on, so his legacy will live forever.”
Joe Jackson, family patriarch and Michael’s father, added his own message to the statement:
“My grandchildren are deeply moved by all the love and support you have shown for them and their father, Michael Jackson.”
In other Jackson news, the Rev. Jesse Jackson announced Saturday that the family wants an independent autopsy to determine what killed the pop icon.
The family’s spiritual advisors want to know more about the cause of death and about the role of the personal cardiologist, Conrad Murray, who was with the singer at the time of his death.
“The routine inquiry is now an investigation,” Rev. Jackson said, according to The Associated Press.> “They [the Jacksons] didn’t know the doctor. … He should have met with the family, given them comfort on the last hours of their son.”
At least 5 detectives from LAPD robbery/homicide met with members of Michael Jackson's family at Michael's Holmby Hills home yesterday. Sources say both the cops and family had requested the meeting. The family wants to know about "the circumstances surrounding Michael's death."
The cops wanted information that could help them determine what killed Michael. We're told Katherine, Joe and several brothers were present.

Michael Jackson's sudden death has put the internet under heavy strain as millions logged on to their computers or turned to their mobile phones to search for information.
Twitter saw a large spike in users with up to 5,000 Jackson-related messages being posted per minute, which slowed the service's speed. Soon after news of his death emerged Jackson-related topics dominated Twitter's list of most popular subjects being discussed on the site. Biz Stone, co-founder of the messaging site, said: "This particular news about the passing of such a global icon is the biggest jump in tweets per second since the U.S. presidential election.”
Facebook saw a similar response, with the number of postings tripling during the hour after news of Jackson's death broke, according to a spokesman. Several Facebook pages dedicated to the King of Pop, such as Michael Jackson RIP and R.I.P. Michael Jackson (We Miss You), were started and attracted well over 100,000 members in a matter of hours.
